There are only 5 days left to register for HC2008. So if you haven’t done so, you still have some time to complete your application.
We are going to have a great time. Our theme “THE BEST OF TIMES” will take us to our educational roots at HMA. So far 630 people have signed up to come. It all starts on Thursday, September 11th with our Alumni Foundation Golf Tournament at Ewa Beach Coral Creek Golf Course. Then for those who are interested in culture, our Iolani Palace Tour take place Friday morning at 11 a.m.
Then on Friday evening at 7 p.m. on the Kapalama Campus of Kamehameha Schools you will enjoy an atmosphere of Hawaiian history combined with the Alumni’s Vesper Service. Then on Sabbath afternoon at 3 p.m. we will hold our main event at the Central SDA Church. You’ll enjoy the program set for you and you’ll have an opportunity to listen to our Keynote Speaker Dr. Randy Roberts of Loma Linda University and Medical Center. A short reception will follow. Then the evening is set aside for Classes to have special Mini Reunions.
Then on Sunday evening beginning at 5 p.m. sharp our Homecoming Banquet will take place at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Coral Ballroom. Doors will open at 4 p.m. All seats are reserved. You can also purchase the Alumni’s Cookbook of special recipes by individual alumnus and you can also purchase a limited edition of Homecoming T-shirts.
Following our dinner you will hear Hawaii’s own Makaha Sons in a special concert for Hawaiian Mission Academy Alumnus. You won’t want to miss any of these events. This weekend is special and you are guaranteed to have an exceptional time. So come along and enjoy The Best of Times.
