Greetings, interested applicants,

 

Please read this information carefully. 

 

In order to complete the application process it will be necessary to fill out a variety of forms.  These forms may be viewed and printed out by clicking on the items listed below, or they may also be found by clicking on “Forms” in the blue box at the left.  Additionally, you may also find the "Forms" under the “Admissions” tab in the red bar above.  There are 3 ways in which you may obtain the necessary application forms:

 

  1. From this website you may print out a copy of each of the forms, fill them out, and return them to the school office.
  2. You may write, call, or email ( admissions@hmeis.org  ) the school office and we will be happy to send the forms to you.  Or,
  3. You may come to the school office and personally pick up the forms.

 

Please use this information as a check sheet to make sure you have all of the necessary forms.

Please note: The Application fee, Comprehensive fee, and 1st installment of tuition & technology fee are due at time of Registration. (Please refer to the "Financial Information" section under the "Admissions" tab). Your child(ren) will be officially registered when all the required forms and required fees are received by the office.

 

FAMILY DISCOUNT: We are happy to be able to provide a tuition discount to those families who have 2 or more children enrolled at HMEI. Please contact the school's business office for additional information.

           

MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS must be completed:

for all students entering Kindergarten - complete physical exam, TB clearance, required immunizations

for all students entering grade seven -  complete physical exam, 2 MMR vaccines, 3 Hepatitis B vaccines, 1 or 2 Varicella vaccine(s) and the scoliosis examination. The Student Medical Record form must be completed by the student’s physician. Because these health policies are a part of the requirements of the State of Hawaii, students failing to meet health requirements will not be enrolled.

 

TUITION PRE-PAYMENT DISCOUNT is given to families paying the entire year or Semester's tuition before the start of school.  ESL students are not eligible to receive a tuition pre-payment discount.
